Alphabetical, unranked, no brokering, no commission. Fees as the provider publishes them — the card shows source, date and the full price list.
Register-checked: the entry stands on a public state register, linked on the card. Two sources checked: no register covers it (yet) — two independent public sources, one of them the operator's own site. One source only: the operator was found (search results, its own site) but no second source confirms who runs it — listed with the reason, without a card, last.
Practices with a cannabis consultation, by Bundesland
Short on purpose: there is no register of prescribing doctors, and the nationwide search of September 2026 showed that most practices that prescribe do not say so publicly. Only what two sources support is listed. If your Bundesland is missing: ask your GP, ask for a referral to a pain clinic, then consider telemedicine.
Telemedicine platforms
Since 1 April 2024 any licensed doctor in Germany may prescribe cannabis — your own GP is a legitimate first route even if not listed here. This directory carries the 31 telemedicine platforms with a verified legal identity and the 41 practices that name a cannabis consultation on their own site and whose Impressum names the medical chamber or the KV. Fees appear only where the provider publishes them, with source and date. Alphabetical, unranked, no brokering, no commission.
13 operators from the search results are in the list as “One source only — not confirmed”: own website yes, operator not established. They come last, without a card, with the reason — and move up once a second source supports them.
Kassenpraxis, Privatpraxis, platform — what the difference means for you
A Kassenpraxis bills the consultation to the statutory insurer. A Privatpraxis and the telemedicine platforms invoice under the medical fee schedule (GOÄ) — even if you are insured under the statutory system. It makes little difference to the medicine: flowers have been excluded from statutory reimbursement since 30 July 2026, and for other preparations coverage is the exception.
Second source per entry: the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung for statutory practices, the Ärztekammer under § 5 DDG for private practices, the commercial register and Impressum for platforms. It evidences status — nothing about quality, nothing about whether new patients are taken, nothing about whether a prescription follows in your case.
How to spot a provider who is not advising you but selling to you
The questionnaire asks about your type of insurance and your willingness to pay before it asks about your symptoms.
The outcome is settled before any contact with a doctor — “you are eligible” as the output of a form is not a medical judgement.
There is no discernible way of not ending up with a prescription. A serious assessment has grounds for exclusion and states them.
The forwarding link carries tracking parameters, and the Impressum names a marketing company rather than a practice or a pharmacy.
Contraindications, side effects and fitness to drive come up only after the purchase — if at all.
If you would first like to work out for yourself whether this fits your situation at all: the self-check runs in your browser, sends nothing and stores nothing.
Telemedicine platforms: the first contact, as priced
31 platforms in the directory; the fee is the lowest published price for a first contact (questionnaire, prescription request or first consultation) and the lowest for a follow-up, each with the platform's own label. Alphabetical, no ranking.
Practices with a documented cannabis consultation, by Bundesland
41 practices whose own site names cannabis therapy as a service and whose Impressum names the medical chamber or the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung; 9 of them bill statutory patients. The nationwide search of September 2026 (one pass per Bundesland, every candidate read on its own site) found few: in Germany the prescription route runs overwhelmingly through telemedicine, and most practices that prescribe do not say so publicly. Where a Land is missing below, no practice met the two-source bar.
