What cannabis flowers cost in German pharmacies — the price level on 22 September 2026
1037 flower products for which the pharmacies' shop pages show a per-gram price range. Half of them start at €4.45 per gram or less, the cheapest tenth at €3.39, the dearest tenth only from €6.36. The upper end of the ranges sits at a median of €7.90 per gram — small packs and individual pharmacies. Since 30 July 2026 the statutory insurers no longer pay for flowers, so this is the price patients carry themselves, plus the doctor's fee and shipping.
Where the numbers come from — and what they are not
Every figure is the price range that the online shops of 229 pharmacies on the same shop platform display for a product before login: the lowest and the highest per-gram price across all of those pharmacies and pack sizes. "From" is the lower end of that range — the cheapest gram any of them asked for the product on the check date, usually in the largest pack. A specific pharmacy shows its own price only after login with a prescription; we do not know it and do not claim it. No recommendation, no advertising, no ranking of pharmacies: cannabis medicines are prescription-only and the doctor decides whether they are suitable. What a month costs, roughly
The arithmetic is the patient's own, but the pieces are public. A first contact with a telemedicine platform is priced at €4.20–€120.00 across the platforms that publish a fee, a first consultation at a practice at €39.90–€118.00; a follow-up appointment or prescription at €9.90–€150.00 (the doctors page lists what each one publishes). Standard shipping costs a median of €7.95 where charged (7 pharmacies ship free), express or same-day a median of €15.99 (the pharmacies page). The flowers themselves sit at the ranges above: 10 g at the median "from" price is about €44.50. What the doctor prescribes, and how much, is the doctor's decision, not a price question.
